We are retelling the sacred texts as stories a child can read. Our first work is the Ramcharitmanas, Goswami Tulsidas’s telling of the life of Shri Ram. It is being broken into short stories, each finishable in one sitting, in two editions: one for ages 4 to 7, and one for ages 8 to 13. After that, the Bhagavad Gita, the Shiv Puran, and onward. The writing has already begun. Nothing is invented and nothing is added. Where a story is difficult, we tell it honestly at a level a child can meet. We do not remove it. Sacred figures are illustrated by hand, in traditional iconography, reviewed before anything is published.

A digital platform, built and owned by Sanatan Australia, where every book we write will live. Children can read the stories, listen to them read aloud, learn the shlokas, and print things out. It will be free to every family in Australia. No advertising, no accounts, no data collected from children.

Sanatan Kids family events across the country: storytelling, creative arts, shloka practice, shared food. The books give a child the words. The gatherings give them a room full of other children who know the same words, and grandparents who have known them all along.
